How to choose a desk for a CEO’s or director’s office?
Start with what will lie on the top and who will sit on the other side. For working with documents and short meetings at the desk, choose a 180×80 or 200×80 cm top: an 80 cm depth leaves room for a monitor and the person opposite. For an office of up to 15 m², 160×70 cm with a pedestal, which extends the desk to 194 cm, is enough. The desk is 75 cm high, leaving 69–71 cm under the top for a chair with armrests.
Straight or corner. A straight desk is placed in the middle of the office or by the window. A corner desk gives you a second top for a monitor or documents and comes in left- and right-hand versions, so you can fit it to the wall with the window or the door.
Pedestal and drawers. The pedestal from the Loft office plus collection measures 140×50×60 cm and has three soft-close drawers, while the Future Active pedestal offers additional space for a computer, bag or printer. A freestanding under-desk pedestal can be bought later for any model.
Colour. Natural oak on a black frame is the most common choice for a loft-style office. You can furnish a dark office with a top in ebony or cuban cigaro, a light one – with a white desk with an oak top. If wood is not needed, some models have a top made of Polish-made furniture board, for example in ivory.

A desk in a law firm works with documents, so the most common choice is a 180 or 200 cm model with a pedestal and modesty panel, with a document sideboard or an office cabinet from the same collection next to it. What size executive desk should I choose?

Can an executive desk be a corner desk?
Yes. Corner executive desks have a second top for a monitor or documents and come in left- and right-hand versions. The model from the Loft office plus collection combines a corner top with a three-drawer pedestal.
How does an executive desk differ from an ordinary office desk?
In size and front. An executive desk is longer, has a modesty panel hiding legs and cables and a pedestal for documents, because it is seen from both sides and a guest sits at it. The top, frame and warranty are the same as for other Deerhorn desks.

A top of solid, seasoned and oiled oak 38 mm thick, a frame of powder-coated steel. The pedestal fronts are furniture board in the frame colour, the handles oak. Some models have a top made of Polish-made furniture board for companies that do not need wood.
