From an empty hall to a place full of life – case study Xtreme Kids Legnica
Every project has a beginning, but this one started exceptionally early – before there were finished walls, colors, play zones or first furniture in the premises. We entered this space at the shell stage, when the facility was still in the stage of intensive construction work. We found an open, unfinished hall, where the future layout of the rooms and their functions were just being drawn.
It is at this stage that it is easiest to think about the interior more broadly – not just about the furnishings themselves, but about how the whole place should function. For us, this was not a realization that consisted solely of providing furniture. From the beginning, we treated this project as co-creating a place that would serve well every day – for families, children and the service team. Looking at the end result today, it’s hard to believe how far the interior has come from an austere hall to a place teeming with energy and daily life.
Planning based on actual measurements
The first stage was the measurements of the premises taken before the finishing work was completed. This was not just a technical inventory stage, but the beginning of thinking about the whole project. Even then, we analyzed how the facility would function, the layout of the zones and the daily movement of users. In a space such as a playroom, the interior must respond to multiple needs at the same time – children, parents and staff.
Thanks to a visit to the site, we were able to verify the proportions of the space, the layout of traffic routes and technical details that are not always visible on the project itself. This allowed us to plan the developments precisely for real conditions, and not just according to assumptions on paper.

From manufacturing to on-site assembly
After refining the design came the production stage, during which we made sure that every detail was in line with the brand’s standards. The culmination of the process was delivery to Legnica, which we accomplished with a Deerhorn tire. With investments of this scale, it is crucial to deliver everything on a single date, which gives fluidity to the work and greater peace of mind on the investor’s side. Our specialized installation team made sure on site that each body was installed according to schedule and with the utmost precision.
Reception desk – the facility’s showcase and service center
The reception area has become a key point of the facility – it is the place of first contact with guests and the daily work of the team. The reception buildings we made were planned so that they not only look great, but most importantly support the organization and comfort of the service during heavy traffic. The layout of the counters and built-ins was thought out to streamline service and organize communication right from the entrance to the facility.

Catering area and cafe
A large role in the entire facility is played by the food area, which is co-created by the furniture we supplied – tables and sofas. This is where parents spend their time, waiting for their kids, so we wanted to create a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing place. The equipment was designed for intensive use. We wanted it to be comfortable for guests, durable and perform well in a dynamic cafe area.
Thematic birthday rooms
A special part of the realization is the birthday rooms, which we equipped with furniture that forms the base for these unique spaces. Each room has a unique atmosphere – from fairy tale heaven to energetic parties. Appropriately selected tables and seating are a key element of this atmosphere, and at the same time must be extremely resistant to children’s energy. It is in these halls that the furnishings become the backdrop for many children’s emotions and special moments.

Colorful cottages and areas for the little ones
The design also featured colorful playhouses and additional furnishings that enrich the interior and add to its energy. This is a perfect example of how furniture in a playroom can serve not only a practical role, but become part of the experience the place gives to the little ones. These smaller forms of development encapsulate the entire visual concept of Xtreme Kids, making the space cohesive and welcoming for the little ones.
The implementation of Xtreme Kids Legnica is the next stage of our growing cooperation with the Xtreme Kids brand. This is already our second joint project, and more locations are in the plans, which is the best confirmation for us that the solutions we create really work in practice.
