Oak desks with black steel frames and PET panels at the SCM Sp. z o.o. office in Warsaw
Introduction
See how we furnished the workstations at the SCM Sp. z o.o. office in Warsaw— with oak desks featuring acoustic panels, designed to fit the intimate yet functional space.
The Challenge
The office space was designed to accommodate two workstations placed side by side, next to a window overlooking downtown Warsaw. We wanted to ensure a comfortable working environment for both people—hence the need to visually and acoustically separate the workstations without dividing the room into smaller, enclosed spaces.
Desks with oak tops and black steel frames
For SCM, LLC We designed two desks with solid oak tops mounted on a black steel frame. The warm tone of the wood, combined with the minimalist black frame, creates a cohesive, modern aesthetic that blends well with both industrial accents and classic office decor.
Acoustic panel between workstations
We installed a PET panel between the desks, which reduces sound transmission and gives each person a sense of having their own separate workspace—without the need for partition walls. This solution works particularly well in smaller rooms, where every square meter counts.
Functional workplace accessories
We complemented the workstations with a wooden trash can in the same shade of oak as the desk tops, so that the whole—including the rest of the room’s furnishings—forms a cohesive, well-thought-out composition.
