A custom version of our reception desk for a physical therapy office
For the Greenfield physical therapy clinic in Schopfheim, Germany, we built a reception desk based on one of our most popular models. The client really liked the look of our standard desk with its distinctive oak slats, but the available space required much smaller dimensions.
Instead of looking for compromises, we adapted the design to the office’s needs while retaining all the elements that set this model apart. The result is a compact reception desk that looks like a smaller version of our flagship design.
A small reception desk with oak slats
The biggest challenge was maintaining the proportions and appearance of the larger model while significantly reducing its size. We wanted the counter to continue to attract attention and serve as an aesthetic element of the interior.
The front is finished with oak slats, which give the piece a unique look and make the reception desk immediately stand out upon entering the office. The natural wood adds warmth to the interior, while the dark elements accentuate the piece’s overall form.
Despite its compact size, the counter provides a comfortable space for daily work and patient care.

This project shows that sometimes you don’t have to design everything from scratch. The client knew exactly which model suited her best, so our task was to adapt it to the specific space.
The final result retained the look of a larger counter while perfectly fitting into the layout of the physical therapy office’s reception area. This is a solution for people who like a specific model but need dimensions other than those available in the standard version.
