For the company SOPUR Sp. z o.o. from Bydgoszcz , which operates in the field of industrial chemicals and specializes in the production of varnishes and wood finishing materials, among other things, we made a corner desk extended with an additional extension.
The client decided to use it not only as a workstation, but also as a place for quick meetings and discussions, without the need for a separate room.
Customer’s idea and job layout
The base was a corner desk with height adjustment and a large pedestal, which provides a comfortable space for daily work.
However, the client decided to go a step further and combined the desk with an additional, smaller countertop. This created a space at which one can:
- sit down with another person
- discuss matters “at short notice”
- work together without the need for a conference room
It’s a simple solution that realistically increases the functionality of the workstation.
Workmanship and details
The oak wood top contrasts well with the black design and built-in pedestal, making the whole look cohesive and modern. The large pedestal provides space for documents and handy things, and the height adjustment allows the stand to fit the user.
The whole thing is designed to be comfortable for both individual work and short meetings.
