Office furnishings at the Zakopane Cultural Center in Zakopane
For the Zakopane Cultural Center in Zakopane, we designed office furniture tailored to daily work and the available space. The project included a corner desk with a wooden top, shelves, and a back panel; a glass display cabinet; and an office cabinet. The light-colored elements combined with natural wood give the office a visually airy feel while providing ample space for work and storage.
From this project, you’ll learn:
- how we designed the office of the Zakopane Cultural Center in Zakopane,
- how to use a corner desk with shelves to create a large workspace,

Corner desk with a wooden top and storage space
The most important feature of this design is a large corner desk with a wooden top. This layout provides plenty of workspace for a computer, documents, and other items needed for daily work.
We also equipped the desk with a panel and a side section with open shelves. This allowed us to make use of additional storage space without having to place another piece of furniture next to the workstation.
Display case and cabinet for the Zakopane Cultural Center office
We’ve also paired the desk with a tall display cabinet featuring glass doors. It provides space for both documents and items you’d like to keep on display. Next to it is a lockable office cabinet, which allows you to store other materials out of sight.
The wooden elements used in the display cabinet and the wardrobe complement the desk’s tabletop, making all the pieces of furniture look great together.
The end result
In this small office , we managed to create a large, comfortable workspace and plenty of storage space. The corner desk makes the most of the available space, while the display cabinet and closet keep documents and equipment organized.
This project for the Zakopane Cultural Center demonstrates that even in the offices of cultural institutions, it is possible to combine functionality with natural wood and a light, soothing color scheme.
