Corner reception desk with wooden slats for Mr. Mariusz in Łapy near Białystok
For Mr. Dariusz’s company in Łapy, near Białystok, we built a large corner reception desk with wooden slats. The desk was placed in the company’s spacious entrance area and provides a comfortable space for daily customer service.
The most striking feature of the counter is its front, which features horizontal oak slats set against a black background. We also used wood for the countertops and the finishes on individual components. From the employee’s perspective, the counter provides a large workspace and room for necessary equipment and documents.
From this project, you’ll learn:
- What does a reception desk with wooden slats look like?
- How well does a large corner counter work at the company’s headquarters,
- How to set up a comfortable customer service station.

Large corner reception desk with a wooden front
For this project, we wanted to create a counter that would make good use of the large space and serve as a prominent feature of the office right from the entrance. The corner design provides employees with plenty of workspace, and the raised front section separates the workstation from the area accessible to clients.
Wooden slats run along the front and side of the counter, making the piece look great from all angles. The natural oak has been paired with black surfaces, and the whole design complements the built-in units behind the reception desk.
This solution can work well in offices, company headquarters, showrooms, and other spaces where a comfortable area for receiving clients is needed.
