Custom-made corner desk for Joanna from Krakow
For Joanna from Kraków , we crafted a custom-made corner desk, designed from scratch to fit a specific spot in her home. The design was tailored to the room’s layout and the client’s needs. The result is a large corner desktop with a distinctive rounded edge on the work side and two cabinets supporting the desktop.

A corner desk designed from scratch
For this project, we did not use a pre-designed desk layout. The dimensions, shape of the countertop, and layout of the cabinets were customized to fit Joanna’s interior. The corner layout made it possible to utilize two adjacent walls and create a large workspace without taking up the central part of the room.
One of the most important elements of the design is the corner tabletop with a gentle, rounded cutout on the side facing the person seated there. This allows the user to comfortably use both parts of the tabletop, and the workstation itself does not have the typical sharp corner.

Instead of traditional legs, we used two cabinets placed on opposite sides of the desk. They serve as storage and are also part of the desk’s structure. The combination of natural oak and black elements gives the whole piece a modern yet warm look.
