Introduction to the Project
As part of this project, we built a corner desk, glass display cabinets, and a TV cabinet. The furniture was crafted from natural oak and black powder-coated metal.
The interior was complemented by plants, which added a natural touch to the space. The combination of warm oak tones, black metal, and greenery gave the office a modern feel, well-suited to the company’s work in the creative industry.

This project has a special meaning for me
Pikul Media was the first company I founded and grew over the course of eight years. It was there that I learned about entrepreneurship, sales, production management, and building relationships with customers.
Today I know that without those experiences, Deerhorn wouldn’t be the brand it is today. That’s why the opportunity to furnish Pikul Media’s new headquarters was much more to me than just another project. It was a moment when two important chapters of my professional life came together again.
Rafał Pikul
Founder of Deerhorn
Before the furniture, there was an advertising agency
Most of the projects we feature on the Deerhorn website tell our clients’ stories. This one tells mine, too.
Before founding the Deerhorn brand, I ran the advertising agency Pikul Media for eight years. That’s where I gained my first experience as an entrepreneur. I learned about sales, team management, production organization, customer service, and taking responsibility for every project that left the company.
I didn’t realize at the time that those experiences would prove invaluable in building a completely new brand.
Today, I am convinced that without those eight years, Deerhorn would not be the company it is today.
From an advertising agency to a major manufacturer of office furniture
After running an advertising agency for a few years, I felt that I wanted to create something of my own from scratch.
That’s how Deerhorn came to be.
The decision to change industries wasn’t an easy one. However, I knew that if I wanted to build a brand that produces premium office furniture, I would have to devote 100 percent of my energy to it.
That is why I decided to hand over Pikul Media to my colleague Przemek. Since then, he has been growing the company under the same name, implementing his own ideas and consistently strengthening its market position. It gives me great satisfaction to see Pikul Media grow year after year.
New Headquarters, New Chapter
As the company grew, its previous headquarters became too small. Przemek decided to purchase his own building and create a modern workspace for the entire team. The new headquarters also meant the office needed to be fully furnished. And that’s when history came full circle. A call asking about custom furniture came in to Deerhorn. I have to admit, it was one of those moments that stick with you. The company I used to run came back to me as a client years later. It was a very nice feeling.
What have I learned from running an advertising agency?
These days, I’m often asked whether the experience I gained running an advertising agency helped me when I was building Deerhorn. The answer is simple: very much so. It was at Pikul Media that I learned how to handle sales, manage people, organize production, and build relationships with clients. The industry has changed. The values haven’t. Timeliness, quality of work, responsibility for the product, and an honest approach to the client remain exactly the same. It was precisely these experiences that allowed me to grow Deerhorn much faster in its early years. Today, I look back on that journey with immense gratitude. Every step along the way had its purpose.
This project means more to me
For me, this isn’t just another project. It’s a symbol of a chapter that’s both closed and, at the same time, beautifully open. First, I spent years developing Pikul Media. Later, I founded Deerhorn. A few years later, both stories came together again in a single project. It’s not often that an entrepreneur has the opportunity to furnish a company that he himself once built. That’s why this project will remain one of the most special ones for me.
Thank you, Przemek
Przemek, thank you for your trust. It’s a great pleasure to watch you grow Pikul Media and take on new ambitious projects. I’m glad that Deerhorn could be a part of this new chapter. I wish you continued success, and I’m convinced that your best projects are still ahead of you.
