A conference table designed from scratch for Maropak in Halinów, near Warsaw
For Maropak, we crafted a conference table made of solid oak, designed based on the client’s concept and inspired by the Deerhorn furniture style. The design was created from scratch with a specific conference room and the number of people who would be using it in mind.
The table is available in two finishes: Cuban Cigaro and Ebony. The dark strip running down the center of the tabletop is not just a visual element. We’ve incorporated cable grommets into it to make it easier to connect equipment during meetings. We also delivered a set of conference chairs along with the table .

A conference table designed from scratch based on the client’s concept
The starting point for this project was the client’s idea and inspiration drawn from the Deerhorn table style. However, rather than replicating one of the existing models, we designed a solution from scratch, tailoring the structure, the appearance of the tabletop, and the details to achieve the desired effect.
The table is large, so its solid oak legs provide adequate support while also complementing the overall look of the piece. The rounded corners of the tabletop soften its shape, which—given its large size—is also important when moving around the table.
Cuban Cigaro Oak and Ebony—two finishes on one table
We crafted most of the table—including the tabletop and legs—from oak stained in the Cuban Cigaro finish. We ran a wide strip of ebony-stained oak down the center of the tabletop, which stands out clearly against the warmer shade of the rest of the surface.
We incorporated cable grommets into the dark band—a feature needed for meetings, presentations, and working on laptops. This way, the technical element was integrated into the table’s design rather than being an afterthought added to the finished tabletop.
Conference Room Chairs for Maropak
Along with the table, we supplied conference chairs, giving the client a fully equipped space for hosting larger meetings. The chairs’ color scheme complements the warm hue of the oak, and their black bases echo the dark band on the tabletop.
This project has once again shown us that drawing inspiration from a ready-made piece of furniture can only serve as a starting point —sometimes the best results come from designing a solution from scratch based on a specific client idea and how the space will be used.
