Equipment for the new headquarters of the Agency for the Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture in Biłgoraj

Desks with partitions for customer service at a government office

The new office headquarters requires furnishings that will stand up to daily use—both for employees’ work and for direct customer service. For the Biłgoraj County Office of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, we have designed a comprehensive furniture solution tailored to the layout of the rooms and their intended use.

As part of the project, we installed, among other things, customer service stations with high partitions, built-in furniture for document storage and printer placement, mobile storage units, protective wall panels, and an openwork partition wall. We also supplied office chairs.

This project was designed so that every element served a specific purpose: to provide employees with a comfortable workspace, organize a large number of documents and equipment, and create a functional space for serving residents on a daily basis.

From this project, you’ll learn:

  • how we furnished the new headquarters of the ARiMR District Office in Biłgoraj,
  • how we designed customer service stations with partitions,
  • How can you ensure greater privacy when there are several workstations set up next to each other,
  • how we used built-in furniture to store documents and arrange office equipment,
  • What is the purpose of the protective panels mounted on the walls behind workstations?
  • how furniture and an openwork partition can be used to organize the office space,
  • What kind of equipment works well in a high-traffic customer service office?

About our customer

The Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARiMR) is a public institution that supports the development of agriculture and rural areas in Poland. Its activities include, among other things, administering support programs and providing assistance to farmers and other beneficiaries.

Furniture for ARiMR’s new headquarters in Biłgoraj

In this project, we did not focus on a single product. The furnishings were tailored to the specific functions of each area of the office —from customer service stations to areas designated for document storage and office equipment.

We have provided both workstations for daily customer service and storage solutions, as well as protective elements to prevent damage to the walls.

Customer service counters with partitions

One of the most important elements of the design is the workstations, which are arranged side by side and separated by tall partitions. Each one provides space for a computer, documents, and the equipment an employee needs.

Side panels divide the space into individual workstations, organizing the area and providing greater privacy when serving customers. This solution works particularly well in government offices and customer service centers, where several people work in a single room.

Furniture units for documents, printers, and office equipment

Another important aspect of the project was the custom-built furniture designed for document storage and office equipment.

There is a high demand for storage space in the office, so instead of individual, randomly placed cabinets, we designed a long built-in unit that makes use of the available space along the wall.

The unit features cabinets and drawers, and its countertop can be used to hold printers, multifunction devices, and other equipment used by employees.

Mobile cabinets for printers and additional storage space

The larger units are complemented by mobile storage containers with drawers. One of them was also used to house office equipment.

The storage unit, equipped with casters, can be moved as needed, providing greater flexibility in organizing your space. Three spacious drawers offer additional storage for documents and materials needed for your daily work.

Wall Protection Panels for the Office

Protective panels on the walls behind workstations

In heavily used office spaces, it’s important to consider more than just the furniture itself. Behind the workstations, we also installed horizontal wall panels that match the rest of the interior design.

Their purpose is to protect the wall in an area particularly vulnerable to contact with chairs and armchairs. This prevents the backs of the chairs from striking the painted wall surface directly, thereby reducing the occurrence of stains, scuffs, and damage.

This solution is particularly important in an office, where the rooms are in use for many hours every day. At the same time, the panel does not look like a makeshift safety measure—it has been designed to complement the rest of the furnishings.

An openwork partition that separates the space without closing it off

Another element created as part of the project is an openwork wall with an irregular arrangement of shelves.

Its purpose is to visually separate different areas of the interior without erecting a solid wall. The open design ensures that the space remains airy and well-lit.

The shelves can also be used to display decorations, plants, or other decorative items. This allows the partition to serve both a practical and decorative purpose.

Comprehensive Office Workstation Equipment

Office Chairs for Everyday Work

We have equipped the workstations with office chairs featuring high backs, headrests, armrests, and a base on casters.

When working for many hours at a time, a comfortable chair is just as important as the desk itself. That is why we approached workstation design as a whole—from the work surface and storage to the seat where the employee spends most of their day.

A cohesive office design rather than individual pieces of furniture

The greatest advantage of a comprehensive implementation is the ability to plan individual elements as a single, integrated whole.

In this project, we used furniture panels in a consistent color scheme, ensuring that the service stations, built-in units, storage cabinets, wall panels, and openwork partition form a unified design. Despite the large number of elements, the space remains visually organized.

More importantly, each solution is designed to meet the actual needs of users: the service counters provide a space for serving customers, the built-in units increase storage space, the mobile units offer additional mobility, and the panels protect the most vulnerable sections of the walls.

Custom-made furniture for government offices and public institutions

This project clearly demonstrates why it’s a good idea to design furniture specifically for a given space when furnishing an office.

Off-the-shelf equipment doesn’t always allow you to use the full length of a wall, maintain proper spacing between workstations, or create partitions of the required height. With solutions tailored to a specific interior, however, we can customize the dimensions, layout, number of workstations, storage methods, and materials.

This approach works well not only in government offices. We can also set up similar workstations in customer service offices, administrative offices, secretariats, reception areas, and other spaces where several people work and serve customers in a single room.
