Introduction

See how we designed an office chest of drawers for a technology company in the industrial security sector in Wrocław—a piece that complemented our earlier project, a conference table, in the same office.

The Challenge

The client needed a low chest of drawers for storing documents and office supplies that would stylistically complement the rest of the office furniture—in particular, the conference table with an oak top and black steel frame that had been custom-made earlier. We wanted to maintain consistency in the materials used across the various pieces of furniture.

We designed a chest of drawers with a simple, minimalist form—the black fronts framed by oak create a striking, elegant contrast. This color scheme directly echoes our earlier design for a conference table, ensuring that the entire office furnishings form a cohesive, well-thought-out whole.

Wooden handles as a finishing touch

We fitted the dresser’s fronts with long, wooden handles in the same shade of oak as the frame. This small detail adds warmth and a natural feel to the piece, while remaining consistent with the rest of the materials used in the design.

A steel leg as a structural element

The chest of drawers rests on a slender black steel leg, which visually lightens the piece and gives it a light, modern character. The leg’s design corresponds to the frame of the conference table from the same collection.
