Today ie. On 17.11.2023, the Ordinance of the Minister of Family and Social Policy dated 18.10.2023, amending the Ordinance on occupational safety and health at workplaces equipped with screen monitors, came into effect (Journal of Laws 2023, item 2367).

In the case of the use of portable systems intended for use at a given workstation for at least half of the daily working hours, under the new regulations, employees who use laptops at work will gain the right to be additionally equipped with a monitor at their workstation. For this, a desk monitor stand will be necessary , ensuring that the laptop screen is positioned so that its top edge is at the employee’s eye level.
